We had been to varanasi recently n stayed in chatram built by GRT.... 

Only the name is chatram but the rooms are amazing with all amenities which u won't get anywhere.... Max 3ppl can stay in a room... They serve coffee in the morning, bfast, lunch, evening tea n dinner.... 

No room service... All food is free of cost n unlimited... 

On krithigai n amavasya day they serve food without onion & garlic...... 

We were there for last amavasai n were wondering how to manage... Wen v went dining area there was a big board indicating since it was  amavasai food is without onion / garlic... Food was served with vadai n payasam too with many varieties of items.... 

Infact they insist their guests to eat there only as outside food may not suit us.... 

While vacating v wanted to contribute for that annadhaanam trust... They dint accept... 

There was a tip box... Its not compulsory to give tip... But we can't go without that as their service is really really amazing.... U get lots of EVs there to move around... V enjoyed our stay there n hats off the service of GRT... 

Any body going to varanasi, pl stay in GRT... Room rent is also very very cheap...

The rooms are like  star hotel rooms... With all latest model hifi fittings

All places r around 4kms from here... U get plenty of electric vehicles to go to shankara mutt, Ganges, viswanathar temple n other temples
