భాస్కరు ఆత్మ తిన్నగా వైకుంఠానికి వెళ్ళిపోయింది అని ఇప్పుడు కాకులకు తెలిసి అవి కోపంగా ఉన్నాయి, అటువంటి వాటి ప్రవర్తనతో, మాకుకూడా మిగిలిన ప్రజలమాదిరి భాస్కరు ప్రసాదం ఇవ్వవలసింది అని తెలియచేయడమే.
కావున వాటిని బాణాలతో కొట్టకండి, నేను వాటికి చెపుతాను.....ఓకాకులారా నేను చెప్పేది వినండి. రేపటినుండి ఈస్థలానికి మరల రాకండి, ఎందుకంటే దానివల్ల మా భాస్కరు గౌరవం తగ్గించినట్టు అవుతుంది. ఈరోజు తనివితీరా ప్రసాదం తినండి, కానీ రేపటినుండి ఇక్కడికి రాకండి అని శ్రీమహారాజు అన్నారు.
శ్రీమహారాజు అన్నది విని భక్తులందరూ సంతృప్తి చెందారు, కానీ కొంతమంది నమ్మకంలేనివారు ఇది అంతా ఒక రభస అని హేళణగా అన్నారు. మనుష్యుల ఆజ్ఞలను పక్షులు ఎలా పాటిస్తాయి ? అని వాళ్ళు ఒకళ్ళతో ఒకళ్ళు అనుకున్నారు.
మరుసటి రోజు ఆ ప్రదేశానికి శ్రీమహారాజు అన్నమాటల ప్రభావం చూసేందుకు వెళ్ళారు కూడా. అక్కడ ఒక్క కాకి కూడా లేదు. వాళ్ళు ఆశ్ఛర్యపోయి శ్రీమహారాజుకు లొంగిపోయారు. 12 సంవత్సరాలవరకు ఆ స్థలానికి కాకులు తిరిగి రాలేదు.
14 రోజులు తరువాత తమ మిగిలిన శిష్యులతో శ్రీమహారాజు షేగాం తిరిగి వచ్చారు. ఇప్పుడు మరొక కధ వినండి. ఆ సంవత్సరం దుష్కాలం అవడంవల్ల నీళ్ళకోసం బావి తవ్వడం పని కొనసాగుతోంది.
సుమారు 10 అడుగులు తవ్వినతరువాత ఒక గట్టి నల్లరాయి తగలడం వల్ల ఇకముందు తవ్వడం అసంభవం అయింది. అందుకని విస్ఫోటకం కోసం గొట్టంలో 4 కన్నాలు చేసారు. ఒకచివరను కన్నంలోకి పోనిచ్చి, విస్ఫోటక సామాగ్రి దానిలో నింపారు. అవిస్ఫోటకాన్ని అంటించడంకోసం చిన్నచిన్న మండుతున్న చెక్కముక్కలను రెండవ చివరనుండి ఆ గొట్టంలోకి జారవిడుస్తారు.
ఏదో కారణం చేత ఆ చెక్కముక్కలు క్రిందకు వెళ్ళకుండా అడ్డుకున్నాయి. క్రిందనున్న నీరు నెమ్మదిగా ఆవిస్ఫోటకాన్ని చెమ్మ చెయ్యడం మొదలు పెట్టింది. దీనితో ఆవిస్ఫోటకం ఇక పనికిరాకుండా అవుతుంది. ఎవరయినా వెళ్ళి ఆచెక్కముక్కలను గొట్టంలో ముందుకు తోసి పరిస్థితిని కాపాడాలి.
కానీ ఎవరూ ఆవిధమయిన ప్రమాదమైన పనికి సాహసించడానికి తయారుగాలేరు. గణుజవర్యా అనే పనివాడిని అక్కడ ఉన్న కాంట్రాక్టరు వెంటనే క్రిందికి వెళ్ళమని అంటాడు. అతని బీదరికంవల్ల ఆ ఆజ్ఞ పాటించవలసిందే. అమాయకమైన గొర్రెలను మనం బలి ఇవ్వడం చూస్తాం.
శ్రీమహారాజు మీద గణుకు అపారమైన విశ్వాసం, కావున ఆయన్ని తలుచుకుని గణు నూతిలోకి వెళ్ళి గొట్టంలో అడ్డుకున్న ఒకదానిని లాగుతాడు. అతను ఇంకొకటి లాగేలోపలే ఆ చెక్కముక్క జారి వెంటనే విస్పోటకం దగ్గరకు చేరింది. మొదటిది ప్రేలుతుంది. గణు నూతిలో ఇరుక్కుపోయాడు. తనని రక్షించవలసిందిగా శ్రీమహారాజును అతను తీవ్రంగా ప్రార్ధించాడు.
మొత్తం నుయ్యి అంతా పొగతో నిండి పోయింది. రెండవ విస్ఫోటకం అయ్యేలోపల ఒకప్రక్క రాయిని గణు పట్టుకున్నాడు. దానిక్రింద సొరంగంలా ఉంది. గణు వెంటనే దానిలోకి జారిపోయాడు. ఒకదాని తరువాత ఒకటిగా మిగిలిన విస్ఫోటకాలతో చాలా రాళ్ళు బయటకు విసరబడ్డాయి. అక్కడ ఉన్న ప్రజలు గణు కూడా అదే విధంగా ముక్కలు అయిఉంటాడని అనుకున్నారు.
కాంట్రాక్టరు అతని శరీరం కోసం చుట్టు ప్రక్కల వెతకమని మిగిలిన పనివాళ్ళని అడిగాడు. అదివిని, గణు ఆనూతిలోపలినుండి అరిచాడు. ఓ మి స్త్రీ గణు చనిపోలేదు, నూతిలో క్షేమంగా ఉన్నాడు. శ్రీగజానన్ మహారాజు కృపతో నేను ఒక సొరంగంలో ఉన్నాను. ఒక పెద్దరాయి నేను బయటకు రావడానికి అడ్డంగా ఉంది అని అన్నాడు.
గణు మాటలు విన్న పనివాళ్ళు చాలా సంతోషించి, క్రిందికి వళ్ళి గునపాలతో ఆరాయిని తొలగించి గణును పైకితీసుకు వచ్చారు. వెంటనే గణు పరుగున శ్రీమహారాజు దగ్గరకు వెళ్ళి ఆయన పాదాలకు నమస్కరించాడు. ఆ సొరంగంలో కూర్చుని ఎన్ని రాళ్ళు నువ్వు బయటకు విసిరావు ? నువ్వు బయటకు రాకుండా అడ్డుపడ్డ ఆపెద్ద రాయే నిన్ను కాపాడింది, భవిష్యత్యులో ఎప్పుడూ కూడా ఇంక ఇటువంటి మండుతున్న గొట్టాలను ఒకసారి అవిక్రిందికి జారినతరువాత ముట్టుకోవడం వంటి సాహసం చెయ్యకు.
ఒక గొప్పప్రమాదం నుండి నువ్వు రక్షించబడ్డావు, ఇక వెళ్ళు అని శ్రీమహారాజు అన్నారు. ఓ మాహారాజు ఆ విస్ఫోటకాలు ప్రేలినప్పుడు మీరే నాచెయ్య పట్టుకొని సురక్షితంగా ఆ సొరంగంలో పెట్టారు, నన్ను మృత్యవునుండి కాపాడారు అని గణు అన్నాడు. శ్రీమహారాజు గొప్పతనం అటువంటిది, దీనిని వర్ణించడానికి నాదగ్గర మాటలు లేవు. ఈ గజానన్ విజయగ్రంధం భక్తులందరికీ సుఖాన్ని తెచ్చుగాక ఇదే దాసగణు కోరికి.

Now knowing that Bhaskar's soul has gone straight to heaven, the crows are angry and by such behavior, they only want to say that they too be given the Prasad of Bhaskar as was given to other people. So don't shoot at them. I will tell them. Crows listen to what I say; don't come to this place from tomorrow, as it may lower the prestige of My Bhaskar.
Eat the prasad today to your heart content and don't come here from tomorrow.” All the devotees were pleased to hear Shri Gajanan Maharaj , but a few nonbelievers were sarcastic and said that it was all nonsense.
“How can birds obey the orders of human beings?” said they to each other. Next day, they even went to that place to see effect of what Shri Gajanan Maharaj had said. There was not single crow there.
They were surprised and then surrendered to Shri Gajanan Maharaj . The crows did not visit that place for twelve years.After 14 days Shri Gajanan Maharaj returned to Shegaon with his remaining disciples.
Now listen to another story. It was a year of famine and so the work of digging a well was going on. Digging of about 10 feet was done and then came up a hard black rock making it impossible to dig further.
So four holes were made for dynamites, and putting the end of string inside, gunpowder was packed in them. The other ends of the strings were taken up and through them were passed small burning wooden pipes, so that they would slide down and ignite the gunpowder.
Somehow, however, the wooden pipes got stuck on the string knots in between; they were not sliding down and the water in the well was about to enter the gunpowder holes, thereby making it ineffective to explode. Somebody had to go down and push the pipe down to save the situation, but nobody was ready to take such a risk.
The contractor asked Ganu Lavarya to go down the well immediately. Because of his poverty, Ganu had to obey. It is always seen that a poor sheep is killed as an offering to God.
Ganu had great faith in Shri Gajanan Maharaj and so, remembering Him, he went down the well and pulled one obstructed pipe, which immediately slid down and touched the gunpowder. Before he could pull another one, the first one exploded. Ganu Lavarya was caught inside the well.
He fervently prayed to Shri Gajanan Maharaj to save him. The whole well got filled with smoke and before the next dynamite exploded, Ganu got hold of one rock on the side below which there was a cavern. Ganu immediately slid into that cavern.
One after the other, all the remaining dynamites exploded and a lot of stones were thrown out. People thought that Ganu must have been split into pieces and thrown out. The contractor asked other workers to search for the body around.
Ganu heard him and shouted from inside the well, “O mistry! Ganu is not dead! He is perfectly alive in the well. By the grace of Shri Gajanan Maharaj, I am safe in a cavern here, but there is a big rock obstructing me from coming out.
People were rejoiced to hear the voice of Ganu and went down the well. They, removing the stones by spades, brought him up. Ganu at once went running to Shri Gajanan Maharaj and prostrated at His feet.
Shri Gajanan Maharaj smilingly said, “Ganu, hiding inside the cavern, how many stones have you thrown out? It is the big stone, which obstructed you from coming out, that intact saved you. Don't repeat such feats again in the future and never touch an ignited pipe once it has slid down a string.
Now go! You have been saved from a great disaster today. When people came to know about Ganu, he said O Maharaj! When the dynamite exploded, it was you who, holding my hand, put me inside that safe cavern and saved me from death.
Such is the greatness of Maharaj for which I have no words to express
