*Distinction between Cheque and Bill of exchange*

 1. A Bill of exchange may be drawn on any person. A cheque is always drawn on a banker.



2. A Bill of exchange may be payable on demand, or on the expiry of a certain period or at sight. 

Cheque is always payable on demand. 

3. A grace of three days is allowed in case of time bills. No grace is allowed on cheques.

4. A cheque doesn't require any stamp. Bill of exchange l is ordinarily

stamped.

5. A cheque may be crossed. Bill may not be crossed.
