*సీ. వేణునాళములమై వెలసిన మాధవుం*

  *డధరామృతము లిచ్చి యాదరించుఁ*

*బింఛదామములమై పెరిగిన వెన్నుండు*

  *మస్తకంబునఁ దాల్చి మైత్రి నెఱపుఁ*

*బీతాంబరములమై బెరిసిన గోవిందుఁ*

  *డంసభాగమునఁ బాయక ధరించు*

*వైజయంతికలమై వ్రాలినఁ గమలాక్షుఁ;*

  *డతి కుతూహలమున నఱుతఁ దాల్చుఁ*

*తే. దనరు బృందావనంబునఁ దరులమైనఁ*

*గృష్ణుఁ డానందమునఁ జేరి క్రీడ సల్పు*

*నెట్టి నోముల నైన ము న్నిట్టి విధము*

*లేల కామైతిమో యమ్మ! యింక నెట్లు?* 🌺

*_భావము: ఆ యువతులు శ్రీకృష్ణుని పట్ల వారి ఆత్మీయ భావాన్ని ప్రకటించుకుంటున్నారు: "కనీసము ఇలా వెదురు బొంగులమై పుట్టినా, శ్రీకృష్ణుని మురళిగా మారి ఆ పెదవులపై అమృతాన్ని అందించేవాడు; నెమలిపింఛములమై యున్నా, వెన్నదొంగ తల పైన అలంకరింపబడి మనతో సన్నిహితంగా ఉండేవాడు; పట్టువస్త్రములమై యున్నా, శ్రీకృష్ణుడు వదలకుండా ధరించి యుండేవాడు; విరిసియున్న వైజయంతీ మాలలమై ఉన్నా పద్మనేత్రుడు మనలను వేడుకతో మెడలో వేసుకొని ఉండేవాడు; బృందావనము లో చెట్లై పుట్టినా, చక్కగా ఆనందముతో మనలను చేరి ఆటలాడుతూ ఉండేవాడు; ఇవన్నీ ఏ నోములను నోచాయో, మనము మునుపు ఈ విధముగా ఎందుకు చెయ్యలేకపోయామో? వీటి లాగా ఈ అదృష్టానికి నోచుకోలేకపోయామేమిటో? ఇప్పుడెలాగే తల్లీ?"_* 🙏

*_Meaning: The assembled women were expressing their affection and fondness towards Sri Krishna: "Even if we were born like the hollow bamboo, Sri Krishna would have turned us as His flute and would give us the taste of the nectar flowing from His lips; If we were the feathers of peacock, He would have decorated us in His well made plaited braid and remained close to us; If we were silken vesture, He would have continuously worn us closely attached to His body; If we were Vaijayanti garland, He would have adorned us in His beautiful neck; At least were we born as trees in Brindavan, He would have been merrily playing around with us joyfully. Which great vows, all these items performed in their earlier births, we are not able to comprehend why we could not do the same? What is going to be our fate when we are not blessed with such good fortune of being close to Sri Krishna?"_* 🙏
