అరెస్ట్ చేసిన తరువాత పొలీస్ వారికి ప్రజలను కొట్టే అధికారం లేదు ఒక వేళ మిమ్మల్ని కొడితే పోలీస్ ఆక్ట్ 1861 సెక్షన్ 29 ప్రకారం ఆ పొలిస్ అధికారికి 3 నెలల జైలుశిక్ష లేదా జరిమానా లేదా జరిమానా మరియు శిక్ష వేయవచ్చు. అరెస్ట్ చేసిన క్షణం నుండి కోర్ట్ లో ప్రవేశ పెట్టె దాకా మీ పూర్తి బాధ్యత రక్షణ ఒక వేళ మీకు ఏమి జరిగిన పూర్తి బాధ్యత పోలీస్ వారిదే అందుకే అరెస్ట్ చేసే సమయం లొనే మెమో ఆప్ అరెస్ట్ ( పేపర్ ) రాపించాలి CRPC SECTION 41 B, C, D ప్రకారం పేపర్ మీద రాయామని అని అడగాలి ఎలా అంటే నేను పలానా పోలీస్ అధికారిని పలానా వ్యక్తిని పలానా నేరం కింద అరెస్ట్ చేస్తున్నను అని అధికారి పేరు అతని ర్యాంక్ కానిస్టేబుల్ ఏస్ఐ etc.. తేదీ స్థలం ఏ స్టేషన్ కింద అరెస్ట్ జరుగుతుంది ఆ సమయంలో అరెస్ట్ చేయబడిన వ్యక్తి ఆరోగ్య పరిస్థితి అతనికి ఎమైన స్వల్ప లేదా తీవ్ర గాయాలు ఉన్నాయా అతని దగ్గర వుండే వస్తువులు మొత్తం పేపర్ లో రాసి అతని బంధువులు లేదా శ్రేయోభిలాషులు లేదా సమాజం లో మంచి పేరు ఉన్న వ్యక్తి సంతకం, అరెస్ట్ చేసే పోలీస్ అధికారి సంతకం, అరెస్ట్ చేసిన వ్యక్తి యొక్క సంతకం కూడా కచ్చితంగా పేపర్ లో రాయాలి దీన్నే మేమో అప్ అరెస్ట్ అంటారు అరెస్ట్ చేసిన 24 గంటల లోపే మెజిస్ట్రేట్ లేదా కోర్ట్ లో కచ్చితంగా ప్రవేశ పెట్టాలి .
ఏ పోలీసు అయినా మిమ్మల్ని స్టేషన్ కి రండి అని ఫోన్ చేస్తే ముందు ఆ అధికారికి ఇలా అడగండి

పూర్వం పోస్ట్ కార్డ్, ఇన్లాండ్ letter , envelop ఇవి మూడూ మన జీవితంలో ప్రధాన పాత్ర పోషించాయి. ప్రస్తుతం పూర్తిగా కనుమరుగు అయిపోయాయి.
ఇదివరకు ఉదయం 11గంటల నుండి పోస్ట్ మాన్ కోసం ఇంట్లో నుంచి బయటికి, బయటి నుంచి ఇంట్లోకి తెగ తిరిగే వారు ఎంతో ఆతృతగా. ఉత్తరం అందుకుంటే ఎంతో ఆనందం కలిగేది. పోస్ట్ మాన్ మన ఇంటి దగ్గర ఆగ కుండా వెళ్లిపోతే ఎంతో నిరాశా కలిగేది.
పోస్ట్ మాన్ లు కూడా అందరితో చాలా మంచి అనుబంధాన్ని కలిగి, సాదరంగా పలకరించే వారు. వేసవి కాలంలో చాలా మంది గృహస్తులు పోస్ట్ మన్ వచ్చే టైమ్ కి మజ్జిగ రెడీ ఉంచి వాళ్ళకు అందించే వారు. అందరి జీవితాలలో ఒక ముఖ్యమైన వ్యక్తి పోస్ట్ మాన్.
ఆప్తులైన వారి నుండి అందుకునే ఉత్తరం ఎన్నో మధుర అనుభూతులని, ఒక్కోసారి మానసిక వేదననూ కలిగించేవి.
ఉత్తరం చదువుతుంటే, రాసిన వారి దస్తూరీని చూస్తే ఒక్కోసారి చాలా ఉద్వేగం కలిగి మనం వాళ్ళతో స్వయంగా మాట్లాడుతున్న అనుభూతి కలిగేది.
ఉత్తరం రాసే ముందు పై భాగం లో శ్రీరామ/శ్రీ/క్షేమం అనే పదాలు రాయడం వాడుకలో ఉండేది. ఉత్తరం సంబోధన తర్వాత --
ఉభయకుశలోపరి/ ఇక్కడ అంతా క్షేమం, మీరు అంతా క్షేమం అని తలుస్తాను -- అని మొదలై.........
ఇంతే సంగతులు/ చిత్తగించవలెను అనే పదాలతో పూర్తి అయ్యేవి.
ఉత్తరాలు రాయడం ద్వారా చేతి వ్రాత మెరుగు అవ్వడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా భాష మీద కూడా పట్టు పెరుగుతుంది. ఎదుటి వారిని ఆకట్టు కొనేటట్టు ఉత్తరం రాయడం ఓ కళ.
ఆలోచిస్తే మనకి మన appointment మన చేతికి అందించిన పోస్ట్ మాన్ లీలగానైనా గుర్తు ఉంటాడు. పేరు గుర్తు లేకపోయినా రూపురేఖలు కొంచమైనా గుర్తుంటాయి. ఎందుకంటే ఆ letter మనకి జీవితంలో టర్నింగ్ పాయింట్ ని తీసుకువచ్చింది కాబట్టి.
అలాగే మన జీవితంలో ఎన్నో మలుపులు సాక్షీ భూతంగా నిలిచిన తపాలా ఉద్యోగులను అందరినీ అక్టోబర్ 10th పోస్టల్ day సందర్భంగా అభినందిద్దాం.
